Pleasure of pareidolia patterns in your quilt of quotidian sketches. Words to add to spice up mundane days pre-spring. Like hopping on a pogo stick jumping for joy.
I protest… there’s nothing quotidian about that comic. The wavy sandwich of pink and orangy sky colours, the dancing trees with bare branches, the fierce sidewalk flower defying the odds, and the peaceful yellow bird accompanying you all the way home. Such gifts of nature are not quotidian!
Limned! Added to my vocabulary :)

A wonderful list! May I add one more? Nostalgia...
Wonderful list! With pronunciations!
Please please please publish a dedicated WORDS OF WONDER book! Thank you! Sincerely, Gail
Getting the proposal out there soon, fingers crossed!
🤗🤗🤗
quotidian sounds so ... status quo?
these are such awesome words!!!
Thank you!!!!! :)
It's been hard to accept that I love pareidolia, but I've just gotta face it...
Tag yourself I’m “limned.” I thought of my sister when I learned vespertine :)
May I ask if you draw a comic a day or more?
I see. Sigh! Why didn’t I realise it?
Vespertine! Yes...when the evening cools and the winds rush in. What pleasure indeed.
You’re in my top 3 substackers. // Does the squirrel have an acorn on a stick? Or is that a bird? your draining/painting is amazing.
Thank you, Kevin! And who can say what the picture is, really? 😁
Hi Grant,

Love the comic though!
Yes, I agree! The contrast was intentional :)
