This cartoon/encouragement just jumped out at me today - on a particularly divided, pointy, and full day (and week, as a matter of fact). It jumped into my body and shouted THIS!... IS YOU. You are not alone, you are not incapable.
Now find the most important thing on your list and DO THAT. I think I'll listen to some music while I'm at it!
Thanks Grant Snider! I'm amazed that you saw this as soon as I posted it and responded! The panel with the "hourly assignments" chasing you like daggers was especially poignant to me. Consider yourself accompanied on this pursuit of the fullness of time!
Thanks for your perfect term-coinage for Grant's Attack of the Hours panel, Frances. It's great! A pointy day, this -- (I've a few pesky punctures to prove it.☺️ )
Looking forward to the book. I love the font chosen for the title. It reminds me of the fonts used on comic collections of the 50s and 60s. Something very classic about it.
Awwww ... so tasty a reminder for today (holiday weekend)! Oh, that wheel wildly whisking the seconds away ... yikes! So relatable, and its soft ending brings a perfect sigh of recognition. Thanks, as always. ( One of my top faves in 'Thinking ..."!!)
Thank you Grant for another message at the right time

"Pointy days," great description!

Coincidentally, I shared a poetry comic titled "Time is an antenna" on my own substack today. What a funny convergence!
Great convergence! Enjoyed your post!
thank you! I enjoyed yours, too :-)
What an incredibly accurate delight about TIME! May we have a poster of that sequence, please? For sure I'm buying the book now.
Ha, thank you!

Thanks Bob, I love the classic comics of that era, definitely an influence!
Really glad they let you sneak in the cool S. Only cool kids use it which means this book must be very cool 😎
Looking forward to reading this!!
Very cool indeed!
Really looking forward to our chat!
I'm also impressed with that cool Stussy S. That was the first thing I learned how to draw.
Dear Grant,
Beautiful piece!
I am grateful for all the time I spent reading it!
Love

Thanks Myq!
Timeless!
Grant, you always come up with the most fascinating meditations. Thanks for another excellent one!
As usual, you are right on target! The common experiences of us all...

So spot on. The illustrations are perfect.
This was fun. Have you diverted from drawing to collage and mosaics?
Timeless! ❤
I love the use of the coloured paper in this strip - very cleverly done 🥰
