So fun to see the process!

Such a wonderful inside look at your process. Interesting to see the use of the yellow in the paper stage, too, for the subtle shadows that show up after the digital coloring. Congratulations on the launch of the new Poetry Comics!

Yesterday was just a whole lot of exhaustion, mixed with cold rain and muddy spring. But when I got home, I opened the mail to find Poetry Comics arrived. I cannot voice the impact.

The book invites warmth and creativity in every way. The pages look and feel amazing! Turned my day around.

Thank you so much for sharing. I cherish your work.

That was pretty cool. It made me think of an Alight II in which ideas/poems are like birds looking for a mindtree or braintree to nest in. I think this is something I’ll run with in one of my future poems.

Oh my goodness, this post totally won my heart. For one thing, murmurations. Magical, wonderful, synchronized swimming in air. One of the most wonderful things to witness. And then getting a glimpse into your process. Thank you for your generosity in sharing and congrats on your book! I am so inspired by your work!

I made some Haiku comics last year and loved the process of refining my words down to fit.

I think it was Seth that said comics are like poetry and graphic design combined.
