I love the recurring bucket -- which I'm pretty sure is a champagne bucket. Marvelously, whimsically, beautifully done.

Thank you, Jonathan! Any bucket is a champagne bucket if you use it right ;)

I like to flip the bucket upside down and sit my ass on it. That’s reverse bucket 😉

I love the fun style of these comics. I have been meaning to focus more on sketching, so I may have to borrow this bucket list idea.

Do everything in life I wanted to do, and did, then do all the things I still want to do, but haven’t.

‘Defy Death’ caught my attention. You really want to stay here so long 😂

I love the reverse bucket-list thing! I think I did something similar a while ago.

The cool thing is... I can't remember what was on it. I just remember the relief of having let it go.

5k in under 19mins. Good lord. I have a goal to get below 25 and it kicks my ass 3 times a week.

Putting that one on my reverse list immediately and scratching it out with gusto! Feels good 😊

Ha, I put that on there as a humblebrag. Ran a 19:02 a few years ago...Let's just say I have not been motivated since. Glad to hear you're in the routine!

It is one of the few things that keeps my mind from imploding. When I least want to run is when I most need it.

I ran something like 24:30 about 3 years ago (with a favourable downhill segment in there I admit) and got out of the rhythm shortly after that due to life etc. been consistently at it again for over a year now with some good periods but have not broken 25 in all that time. I'm probably not arsed enough... i really want it... But when I'm 3k deep and my body hates me I clearly dont want it that much 😂

"Keeps my mind from imploding," I can relate to that. I've heard you can avoid that 3k feeling of doom by starting at a gradual, reasonable pace, but do far I haven't been smart enough to actually try it!

Just circling back on this... 5k in 24:31 this evening.. (hurray) 2nd fastest I've ever done. My soul feels like it is 22 again... my knees and lungs like they are 62. (I'll happily take the average)

Hi Grant,

I love no.7 on your bucket list. It’s the way you look and the casual way you throw out the coins as if you are having such fun doing it, while thinking deeper thoughts. And I love it that whatever you are doing, the bird doesn’t care. Such an excellent illustration. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks so much! Great observation about the bird. Oh, to be free of human concerns...
