Feeling these colors and that earthly embrace, temperature is just one piece of a much larger puzzle. Literally inspiring me to get out there today. Thank you

Glad to hear that, thanks John!

I'm not a runner; however, you make it seem transcendent!

Grant Snider's avatar

Some days it feels transcendent, but that might just be the weather, scenery, or endorphins!

Reading this for the nth time and today the idea of eventually being “warm enough to unbundle” struck me. Must be in search of warmth right now… 🩵

Glad that line stood out, with the freezing weather this weekend it's been unrealistic. Bring on spring running :)

Love the colors. It's -9 degrees Fahrenheit where I live, so not so much running going on out there...

These paintings are a big step further than you've gone before. Beautiful, rich, with lots of movement, especially with the clouds in that final painting. The wind is blowing hard.

Grant Snider's avatar

Thank you, Sue! Yes, the Kansas wind never stops :)

Here in Nevada, we have what we lovingly refer to as the Afternoon Zephyr. It can be a gentle whisper or a raging gale.

Oh, these COLOURS! And the companionable, magnificent trees keeping watch as you run -- wow. Splendid one, Grant -- bursting with vitality and light. Winter is leaking some significant Spring!
