At the end of my piece on How to Make Poetry Comics I issued a challenge:
Imagine the page as stairsteps. A ripple. The golden ratio. Triangles. Could a comic be three-dimensional?
I decided to follow my own creative prompt and used these unusual panel structures to create new poetry comics.
Stairstep
Ripple
Golden Section
Diagonal
Three-Dimensional
Attempting each new panel shape almost broke my brain, but it was a joy to push the boundaries of the page and see what ideas each unique format suggested.
What new forms of poetry will you discover? What new structures will you create?
