Both of these comic tutorials are excellent for kids to express their feelings in a positive and productive way. Just think of their pride in accomplishment when they collect their comics over time.
Thank you for such an interesting and generous post. You make it all look so easy when you explain it, and your comics are beautifully minimalist while still saying so much. I really need to learn how to simplify.
By the way, I wanted to tell you that your work has been a big inspiration for me over the years. It actually encouraged me to finally publish my first comic book. t’s currently in Spanish, but I hope to have an English version at some point in the not-too-distant future.
Congrats, Jesus! I'm glad to hear you've found inspiration in the comics, and it's quite a milestone to be publishing your first book. I'd love to see it when it's available! -Grant
I can't wait to start drawing my comics for myself regularly and then go on indefinite hiatus, leaving me to never know how the story would end (joke about my experience with webcomics when I was younger)
Thank you so much for sharing this! My 5th graders LOVED making their own Joy Bingo boards, so I am sure they will enjoy this activity as well. Blessings to you!
What a beautiful and generous gift to everyone! Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Yes, I agree!

Ha, wish the ideas spinning around in my head were as simple as what sometimes makes it onto the page. Thanks Jesus!
That’s funny — and honestly very relatable.

Thank you so much, Grant — that really encourages me as a creator.
My comic is called "Guía del caminante, cómics para apreciar la vida". It’s currently available in Spanish on Amazon.
I’m working on an English version and I’ll let you know when it’s ready.
And thank you again for the inspiration your work gives me and so many other readers and creators.

Sounds like most of my novel drafts :) It's why I stick to single page comics, mostly.
You made me want to write a story about the heroine, the pirate and the robot...
I eagerly await the seven book series :)
