If you enjoyed these drawings, I think you’ll love my new book, THINKING ABOUT THINKING. It’s published by Abrams ComicArts and can be purchased worldwide.
Take a look inside:
You can get a signed, personalized copy at my local bookstore, Watermark Books & Cafe: https://watermarkbooks.com/list/grant-snider-collection
THINKING ABOUT THINKING features comics inspired by some of my favorite artists: Rene Magritte, David Hockney, Wayne Thiebaud, and Bridget Riley. It features comics inspired by some of my favorite shapes: the square, the circle, and the triangle.
And the front cover is a literal window you can peer in and out of.
Cool, right?
Here’s a view from my window:
Thanks for reading, and if you get the book I’d love to see a picture of your window view.

Grant,
Recently, I finally used a gift card (received in appreciation from one of the places I teach & learn) to purchase Poetry Comics, The Art of Living and Thinking About Thinking. Love ‘em all.
Next time I fly, I’m going to take one of these books to read again while sitting in the middle seat way in the back (one of those 'assigned when boarding' to save money). As I laugh, giggle and sigh, the people sitting on either side of me (as the flights are almost always packed) may wonder: why’s this spry white haired 70 year old reading a hard cover comic book and chuckling about? And maybe, they’ll be curious enough to ask...
Also, I share your substack email newsletter regularly and hope the ‘share-ees’ then subscribe too.
dear grant,
i think, therefore i love this post!
i love "i think, therefore i overthink"!
and "i think, therefore i can't sleep"!
and all the rest!
love
